The opening night was littered with comedy acts, singing, excellent seafood food from Claypots and Frederic's Kitchen (thanks Katrina Fleming). A 'failed contestant', bound and gagged, and dressed in a specially imported Guantanamo Bay overalls crawled his way up the red carpet and Prof Western-Smith (descendent of Smith and Western) had flown in from Chicargo to MC the night (thanks Jeremy Kewley). And the packed, twittering audience was receptive to the high-voltage movie. An awesome night. The closing night on the 20th April packed out the 358 seater. We know this movie is not for everyone, but thanks to those who came up to three times - reportedly enjoying the film more each time. Thank you Melbourne. ![]() | And the novelty poster is still a hit. ![]() WickedAussievChick blogging on the final Melbourne screening link |
