That is filmmaking! | From the makers of THE JAMMED This film was produced by award winning Melbourne film makers Dee McLachlan and Andrea Buck – and directed by McLachlan. They burst into the Australian film scene with their critically acclaimed 2007 sex trafficking thriller, The Jammed. “I get upset about all the violence in the world and the way it is regularly portrayed in the news, which so often exacerbates our fears and suspicion of other cultures. At the same time there is an avalanche of reality television shows - so much so that we seem to have become blinded to the real challenges facing the world,” says McLachlan. The film originated from the script called “Terri & Azim”, then morphed into its present form when one of the team, co-producer Lenny de Vries, mentioned “Who Wants To Be A Terrorist” a spoof of the ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ show format.
